Asda Stores Helps Harry Help Others

May has been a busy month of raising awareness in the community of all our services and how we can help adults and children affected by cancer via our Drop In Cancer Support Centre.

First up on 23rd May (PM) and 24th May Georgie was at Asda Small Heath with community champion Tracey Collins and HHHO Service User / volunteer Kate Doherty. In addition to raising awareness for our services, £295.03 was raised in total at Small Heath.

Then on Saturday 25th May Georgie visited Asda store, Parkgate, Shirley where community champion Janet Price and also HHHO Volunteer Gill Merricks joined Georgie to help out. It was clear that Harrys Story ‘Harry The Hero was a huge hit with the younger customers, and £354.02 was raised on the day.

Huge thank you to both Asda Small Heath and Shirley and their customers who kindly supported the work we do.  Georgie is due to be at Asda Cape Hill on Thursday 30th May also and is looking forward to spreading the Harrylove amongst more Asda customers.

If you know of anywhere happy to host a Harry Stall, please do get in touch with georgie@hhho.org.uk
