HHHO 10th Anniversary

Help Harry Help Others were excited to celebrate their 10-year anniversary on Monday 26th September 2022. The team pulled together a celebration at the drop in cancer support centre where clients, trustees, ambassadors, and supporters attended to wish HHHO a Happy Birthday!

Help Harry Help Others also created ‘a light in the dark’ moment. The campaign started from 8pm on Monday 26th September. The team produced limited edition glow- in-the-dark bracelets, with 10 gold beads representing each year, and asked famous faces and members of the public to wear and share their bracelets and shine a torch or candle on social media.

The #HHHOalightinthedark campaign was not only created to commemorate and celebrate Harry’s legacy, but to raise awareness of and drive funds to the running of Birmingham’s first Cancer Drop-in Support Centre.

One famous Brummie who got involved in the awareness drive, was the Bullring Bull. He was illuminated with his very own, specially made light up HHHO bracelets, alongside the Library of Birmingham, BCFC and AVFC Football Clubs, New Street’s line of trees and Selfridges, all shining their lights to support the charity.
