We are delighted to receive a huge charity donation from Instarmac who are specialists in the manufacture and distribution of cement and bitumen based products. For the third year running, the Tamworth based company has given a charity donation of £25,000 which is the cost of the annual rent for the drop-in cancer centre here in Birmingham.
The donation means the world to us and it makes a huge difference for us to know that the concern about paying the rent for a whole year has been taken away. For three years Instarmac have made this fantastic donation and we are so grateful for their generosity once again. The chairman and CEO both came to the drop-in cancer centre to visit us and confirm their charity donation and Georgie was on hand to show off the third plaque on the wall of the centre commemorating the donation.
Speaking about it, CEO, founder and Harry’s proud mom Georgie said “We are absolutely bowled over to be on the receiving end of Instarmac’s amazing generosity once again, it really does mean the world to us. A charity donation like this means that we can operate and provide cancer services for another year knowing that the rent costs for the drop-in cancer are covered. It allows us to focus our fundraising efforts on other parts of our service and help to ensure that we can provide things like counselling, group support sessions, advice and supplementary services to anyone affected by cancer in Birmingham, the West Midlands and beyond. Keeping Harry’s legacy going is what we are all about here at Help Harry Help Others and this donation means that we’ll be doing that for a long time.”
