We are always touched by incredible supporters, whether its fundraising, the offer of expert services or volunteer days………it is all valued, appreciated, and together we make a real difference!
This month we are overwhelmed to have received support for a prject to help make it a nicer environment at our centre, not only for service users, but for the team that work so hard within it.
Thanks to Pete and his team at JLR, they have kindly started switching over 67 very old lights that look like they have been up for as long as I have been on this earth, to new LED lights in every room. Its a huge task and once which we value so much, especially given the fact they are doing this so it does not interfere with service provision to our service users.
Each day on site they are diving in and out of rooms when there are gaps as they understand the importance of all we offer.
We cannot thank them enough for their incredible support. Our lights have not been the greatest for over eighteen months now so we are all thrilled already by the difference this is making, not excluding the reduction in the electricity bill this should bring.
