Nutrition For Cancer Workshops Coming To The Cancer Centre

nutrition for cancer

A series of nutrition for cancer workshops are taking place at the Help Harry Help Others drop in cancer centre in Birmingham this Spring as we look to help our service users with another practical series of information and advice to help them through their cancer journey.  The workshops are being led by Deborah Warner, a nutritional scientist who has worked in the area of nutrition and has a postgraduate degree in genomic medicine and the founder of Warner Nutrition.  As a cancer survivor herself, Deborah has had to practice what she preaches and focused on the nutritional elements to aid her own cancer recovery, making her very well placed to lead these workshops.

The workshops are focused around the needs and requirements of those who attend and Deborah is keen to make sure that each nutrition for cancer help and advice that she gives is relevant to the individual wherever possible.  The advice for one patient with a particular type of cancer will be different for another type of cancer patient and Deborah is keen to emphasis the personal approach to these workshops.  In addition to the nutrition for cancer workshops, Deborah will also be holding a number of one to one sessions with our service users to give the specific advice that they need and she feels that this is an important part of the service.

The nutrition for cancer workshops have started in March and will be taking place each month with a limited number of one to one sessions available after the workshops.  The one to one sessions are specifically for cancer patients who are looking for help and advice but the open workshops are available to cancer patients and also people who have a relative or loved one with cancer or are caring for someone with cancer.  For further details and to book a place on future workshops, contact us here or call 0121 783 5407.
