Our friends at Screwfix Connect have stepped up again to raise even more money to help us here at Help Harry Help Others provide support services for people affected by cancer. Earlier this year, they took on a 300 mile bike ride on an exercise bike in their office in Birmingham and now they have taken on the muddy challenge of a Wolf Run.
The 11 strong team donned their Connect/Help Harry Help Others kit and faced the 10km course around the countryside including muddy hills, freezing cold water plunges and the 100ft water slide. As well as lots of fun and laughter, they raised over £900 for us. Speaking about the event and their experience, they said:
‘Eleven of our employees at Connect volunteered to take on the Spring Wolf Run on Saturday 25th April. We waded through mud, battled freezing cold water and took on many obstacles, but it was all worth it to raise funds for this incredible cause. The team got stuck in, supported each other and left the course very muddy, but with huge smiles! We’re very proud of team Connect and also proud to have raised over £900 for Help Harry Help Others.‘
