Solihull College ALD Students Support HHHO Through Enterprise

Georgie was delighted to be invited to speak on 7th May 2024 to ALD  (Adults with Learning Differences) students from Solihull College following their hard work with their latest enterprise challenge.

Tasked up with an raising money for a local charity, they as a team looked for local causes that help local people. After seeing Harry’s story, they decided that Help Harry Help Others would be the chosen charity.

They have been very busy with the planning, organising and promotion of their craft and card items which they made and sold over Christmas and Easter. Together they raised an incredible £271 for HHHO.

Georgie says “it was a priviledge to attend the college to speak with the students and understand the work the undertook to achieve what they did. They are very clearly entrepeneurs like my Harry and they should be proud of their efforts which will make a difference to all the familes we support who are sadly affected by cancer. We are extremely grateful to them and hope they stay in touch”

If you are not aware, HHHO have a few social enterprise offerings, where through Harrys own story young people can see that regardless of age, wealth, lifestyle and wellbeing – you really can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.
