Stairbox, a Staffordshire based staircase manufacturer have kindly donated a full staircase for Andy and Donna’s house as part of our Respite Renovations project. The staircase has been an integral part of the project for a number of reasons, not least to give Andy access to the upstairs part of the extension which was completely unreachable before.
The generosity of Stairbox has made a huge difference to Andy and Donna, not just from an access point of view but also in terms of ensuring that the whole project is able to progress and since the installation, it has meant that developments upstairs have moved very quickly. Electrics, cellotexing and plaster boarding have all been completed because the stairs have provided access to the upstairs area.
Speaking about the donation from Stairbox, Georgie Moseley said:
“This has been a real game changer for us in the progression of the Respite Renovations project because it has meant that so much work in the upstairs part of the extension can now take place. It’s like the final piece of the jigsaw and it has meant that the project can move on a lot quicker. It has also mean that Andy himself can now make it upstairs to not only see the development but also help with some of the tasks and elements that need completing. The generosity of Ian and everyone at the company is amazing and we are so grateful for them playing such a huge part in the Respite Renovations project. Thank you so much!”
The Respite Renovations project continues with all of our amazing volunteers, partners and contributors bringing Andy and Donna’s extension to life and finally helping them see an end to the project which has stalled for so long. We could not have made this happen without our fantastic partners and the generosity of the amazing companies who have seen this appeal and offered their services. Keep checking our social media channels for updates and developments as they happen.
