BK Plus hold EuroFootball Tournament

On Wednesday 8th May BK Plus held its 6th annual football tournament for Help Harry Help Others at Bescot Stadium, Walsall.

Each year it gets bigger and better, and this year they decided to go in the theme of the Euro’s.

With over 240 players, representing 24 teams across Europe. Organised by Wayne from Ace Academy and BK Plus Marketing team Cooperfields,  it was a super day as we looked on to watch each team battle it out to reach the finals. It was a great day and the sun even made an appearance! It was clearly shining down on the winning team Croatia (Matt Howells) who walked away with the Zak Edwards Memorial Cup.

Over £10,000 was raised on the day which is incredible and will make such a difference to Help Harry Help Others through such a difficult climate.

David Baldwin Trustee of Help Harry Help Others and Director of Bk Plus said “Outside of my typical role as a trustee for Help Harry Help Others, it is great to be able to put on a great fundraising event for the charity thanks to the support off my customers and suppliers. Thank you to all who supported the day and helped raise over £10,000 which is gratefully received by HHHO who like many others continue to experience challenging times. Together we have shown the power of community and compassion. We hope to see you next year”.

Georgie Moseley said “I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to David, Wayne and Cooperfields along with all those who took the time to enter and play on the day. I am overwhelmed by the support of you all and please know the difference that your efforts will make to our lifeline of support we offer here at the centre. It was evident their was passion and fun on the pitch and i hope the injuries and aches and pains were all worth while knowing the difference you have collectively made to the families we support here at the centre. Thank you everyone”.
