Fatima Javid from Green Lane Masjid is the Cancer Support Services Project Manager, who with the support of her team is in the first year of a three year project to offer support to people affected by cancer.
As we ourselves are planning outreach work across East Birmigham it was lovely to hear of the other great work. They were delighted by all we offer and took great inspiration from HHHO services and our decor which will hopefully help them as they plan rooms within the mosque to support people affected by cancer.

In order to focus on reducing health inequalities it is imperative that community based charities and organisations work together more closeley in order for diverse communities to have their voice heard.
