Some Of Our Hero365 Participants Already Smashed Their Targets

Our Hero 365 campaign went live in January with some hero’s eager to help our cause by signing up and pledging to raise (£850) to cover a days running costs of our centre. We are only in May and incredibly we have some hero’s that have already completely smashed their targets.

The first event was as early as February (KAG Recruitment quiz night), and we have also seen donations (Julie Nevett, Joan Smith, Alan Downton), to corporate events (Coversure Insurance) and sporting events like Birmingham Half Marathon and Climbing Snowdon, Ben Nevis (Paul Woodford, Matthew Bowater)  and of course Harry’s moms 24 hour danceathon (Georgie Moseley) – its clear to say that so far we are very grateful to all of our hero’s.

So far a staggering £20,000 has been raised covering 23.5 days running costs for the centre and we still have lots of people to start their fundraising events. As a thank you all of our particpants receive a personalised engraved heart for their participation as a thank you for helping our service users.

Georgie Moseley (Harry’s Mom & Founder) says “We are so incredibly proud and grateful to all of those people who signed up to particpate in our Hero365 campaign. The world is a very touch place for everyone right now, yet our Hero’s have still found the time and effort to achieve their target of £850. I think all of our hero’s are very special and as, like many charities we continue to navigate through tough times, we are especially grateful to these people who are single handedly funding our centre for one whole day through our campaign. Imagine if we could find 365 people doing the same for 2025? It would mean our whole centres running costs would be achieved, meaning guaranted support and services to the adults and children we support every day. Thank you to everyone involved and please know how team Harry appreciate your efforts)”.

More updates on our Hero’s will come in due course. If you would be interested in becoming a Hero365 for 2025 then please email georgie@hhho.org.uk  In return for being a hero365, you will receive a fundraising pack, a t-shirt, a personalised gift as a thank you and at the end of the year all of our Hero’s names will go onto a commemorative plaque which will be hung very proudly here at Help Harry Help Others Drop In Cancer Support Centre.
