[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]HHHO first had the pleasure of meeting an incredible team from JLR back in December where we had been chosen as a charity to be a beneficiary for JLR’s Christmas appeal.
Following a visit by Pete Robinson and his team from JLR the team were hooked at the work we deliver and more importantly the impact we make. So much so they offered to help and asked for a list of jobs they needed done.
Just a few weeks ago, Georgie listed a number of jobs we had around the centre. This included lowering our reception desk where our incredible Christine – our Welcome Hub Administrator sits. Christine in her early 70’s had been suffering with her shoulders and we wasnt sure if the height of her desk was adding to her issues. With that in mind Chris organised a team to come in and they suprised our lovely Christine with lowering the desk. To say she was thrilled to bits was an understatement.
They then came back a couple of weeks later to help swap our offices over. Whilst this had been swapped just over twelve months ago, the team had noticed that service users were not using ‘The snug’ as much as it was the other end of the bulding to the kitchen. With just three operational people in the team it was proving difficult to find the time and the strength to swap the two rooms over.
Thanks to JLR a team of 14 turned up at 6am to meet Georgie and swap the rooms so that no disruption was caused to our service users.
Team Harry cannot thank the team enough for their help and support. Immediately after the job as finished, the very same day, the sofa in the new Snug was immediately full with service users.
