[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Often we get caught up in the day to day and many, including me are guilty of reacting to stuff without being able to hit the pause button to review what we are doing. Afterall, if it works why change it?
However, Following internal staffing changes at the beginning of this year, Georgie has been working hard behind the scenes to review processes, procedures across the whole charity including the listening team. The ‘pause and review’ period has enabled us to streamline our processes making us more efficient and effective, but also ensuring that all we implement is working in line with ethical framework of counselling.
Following joint work with Georgie and clinical experts, two meetings were held on 9th April. Firstly, a meeting for Student counsellors, followed immediately by a meeting for our qualified and experienced counsellors.
Georgie said “whilst we are all one team here at HHHO, I felt it was important to address each group separately to enable more focus in line with their level of working and separate processes they follow. The meetings were also an opportune time for everyone to ask questions, gain further support and raise any concerns they had. It’s always good to go back to basics, and hearing the voices of those serving on the front line is extremely valuable before implenting changes. We have a super skilled listening team here at HHHO of which I always deeply value and take on board their insight and thoughts. The team embraced the proposed changes as we turn a new page here at HHHO and we are all looking forward to continuing to offer a professional yet personable service”.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”12506″ img_size=”1200×1200″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
