Hero 365 Participant Moves Heaven and Earth To Achieve Target

Earlier this year Help Harry Help Others launched our Hero 365 campaign in which incredible people come together to single handedly fund one day’s running costs and all the services that happen that day within our Drop In Cancer Support Centre.

In the current climate, achieving the total is hard but so far we have seen Julie Nevett, KAG Recruitment, Rachel Howell, Joan Smith & Alan Downton, Probrand all achieve or exceed their targets with lots more people busy behind the scenes working on their Hero 365 goal.

Paul Woodford,  Director or Coversure Insurance and a great ambassador for HHHO who has supported the charity since the day he met Georgie at a networking meeting. When he heard of the challenge, as well as his business getting involved, he decided to take on a personal challenge……..or two.

First of all he took part in the Bham Half Marathon on 5th May 2024, and as if that wasn’t enough – he then literally 9 days later  took on Ben Nevis ( Tuesday 14th May 2024).

Paul has now smashed his target and we at Help Harry Help Others are especially thankful. Paul himself as recently been touched by cancer and has sadly just lost his Dad. To keep his word during such a terrible time is testament to the person he is and Georgie and the team are extremely grateful for his ongoing support, commitment and passion for our cause.

Paul said “Help Harry Help Others has been a charityh that i have supported both personally and as a business for the last 4 years. It is a fantastic cause and The Drop In Cancer Support Centre offers a real lifeline for cancer patients and their families. Having lost my own Dad very recently I have first hand experience of the excellent support they offer. They help where the NHS cannot. I am delighted to commit to be a part of their Hero365 campaign where i will raise £850 which is the daily running cost of keeping the centre open.”
