We’re proud to share an inspiring update from Timothy Mulvany, our brilliant PhD student, whose research we proudly sponsor through our HelpCURE fund. Over the last few months, his work has made incredible strides—both here in the UK and on the international stage.
We’re delighted to report that his research was recently accepted for presentation at the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) Annual Meeting—a leading global platform for cutting-edge MRI research—held this year in Hawaii. During the conference, he presented his findings, networked with international researchers, and explored the latest innovations in medical imaging and brain tumour research.
Earlier in the year, he also gave a well-received talk at the British-Irish Chapter of ISMRM postgraduate symposium, further showcasing the importance of his work in paediatric brain tumour imaging.
Beyond these presentations, he continues to make strong progress in the academic world with two first-authored and two co-authored papers currently submitted for publication, and a further three manuscripts in development. He also remains an active contributor to international research collaborations, including the 2024 Brain Tumour Segmentation Pediatric Challenge, where his team’s success last year is set to continue with a new submission this year.
Thanks to your support, Help Harry Help Others is playing a vital role in advancing brain tumour research. This progress wouldn’t be possible without the generous contributions of our supporters, helping us fund the next generation of cancer researchers.
We look forward to sharing more updates as this important work continues.
